Updated: Mar 31, 2020

When you've watched more than thousands of movies, you start wondering which are the best. Shockingly, a lot of them released in same year. Here are the movies which prove 1994 was the best year for cinema.

Since you're quarantined, watch them.

  • The Shawshank Redemption : A crime/drama starring Tim Robbins as Andy Dufresne and Morgan Freeman as Eliis Boyd Redding (Red) . Andy's a banker, arrested and sentenced life imprisonment for murder of his wife and her lover. The movie is about how prison affects Andy's life and his brotherly bond with Red. It's available on HOTSTAR.

  • Forrest Gump : A comedy/drama starring Tom Hanks as Forrest Gump and Robin Wright as Jenny Curran. Forrest, man with low IQ, joins army and does a bunch of other jobs. However, he always keeps thinking about his childhood love Jenny. Forrest Gump has emotions written all over it and contains every element that revolves around us. Its available on Netflix.

  • Pulp Fiction : A comedy/crime directed by Quentin Tarantino. If you're a Tarantino fan and you haven't watched this, you're lying. It's set in the underworld and has Samuel L Jackson swearing(a lot) . I dont think you need more reasons to watch this movie. It's available on Netflix.

Movies which weren't critically acclaimed but loved by the audience.
