Bharti Airtel's new prepaid plan offers Disney+ Hotstar subscription for 1 year
One of the India's major telecom operator, Bharti Airtel recently launched a new plan which offers Disney+ Hotstar subscription for 1 year. The new prepaid plan is priced at Rs. 401 and comes with 3GB data benefit.
Airtel Rs. 401 Plan Explained
As mentioned above, the newly launched plan is priced at Rs. 401 and offers Disney+ Hotstar Subscription for 1 year. Along with it, the plan offers 3GB data and is valid for 28 days. It is not a bundle recharge as most the telecom companies used to offer now a days. It does not comes with any Unlimited calling or SMSs benefits. This plan is a data centric plan with 3GB data benefit and 1 year subscription.
As 3GB data for a month is not enough for a normal user and adding 1 year Disney+ Hotstar which use to take a lot bandwidth while streaming, airtel adds an option for customers to recharge any other prepaid plan on top of the Rs. 401 recharge plan. Also, to avoid potential misuse "Customer will be able to recharge with this product only once in 360 days to avoid wrong selling & customer issues." Also, The recharge plan benefits validity (28 days) & Disney+ Hotstar subscription validity (1 Year) are independent of each other – with only start date being same i.e. the date of recharge.
Activating the Subscription
After recharging, the customers will either receive a link sent by the company to activate the subscription or customers can directly head over to the Airtel Thanks App for activating it manually. As most of the airtel customers might be aware of the tier system where users can avail the benefits of a particular recharge plan based on their tier. Airtel also mentioned that "Disney+ Hotstar VIP content access available on this Pack can only be claimed against the mobile number on which recharge is done."
The plan is already live & all the airtel prepaid customers across all the circles are eligible for this recharge plan. This recharge will be available across all existing recharge channels – Retailers, Airtel Thank App, 3rd Parties on lines of a normal telco recharge.
